At Thermometrics, we go beyond providing a diverse line of temperature measurement products. Our sales staff partner with our customers from design to installation to meet their specific needs. From customized sensor applications and designs, material testing and traceability, and accredited calibrations, through manufacture to special packaging and delivery options, we can provide the services you need.

Thermometrics inside sales team is assigned specific geographical territories that allow them to quickly become familiar with our customers’ special needs and requirements. This means you will speak with the same Sales Associate every time and consequently, you can depend on getting sales assistance based on your needs. Our sales team, all with hands-on, in-house production experience and field application knowledge, can help provide you with information about our products and their process applications, as well as help you select a standard or special product to solve your specific problem. They are your partners and your first link to the successful application and use of our products.

Application Assistance
Our sales engineers and cross trained and able to attend to all of our customer’s special needs and requirements. By doing so, this means you’ll speak with the same Sales Engineer every time and consequently, you can depend on getting sales assistance based on your needs. Our sales team, all with hands-on, in-house production experience and field application knowledge, can provide you with information about our products and their process applications, as well as help you select a standard or special product to solve your specific problem. They are your partners and your first link to the successful application and use of our products.
Calibration

Thermometrics’s laboratory managerial and technical team have documented education, training, technical knowledge and experience to precisely perform their assigned functions. The laboratory’s test environment is constantly monitored and controlled to maintain all required conditions, while access is strictly defined and controlled.

Our Laboratory equipment includes fluidized baths and tube furnaces, standard platinum resistance thermometers, and type “B” and “S” thermocouples. All standards and calibrations are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) or have been derived from accepted values of natural physical constants, or by the ratio of self calibration. Our reports are complete and include “as found” and “as left” data when appropriate.


Note: Our quality system meets or exceeds the requirements for NIST Handbook 150:2006, ISO 9001:2000, ISO 10012-1:1992(E), ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, and MIL-STD-45662A.

 
Certificates 

Certificates of Compliance

 
Thermometrics can supply additional documentation, as needed by your application, stating that the product you receive conforms to the requirements specified in the purchase order and any applicable specifications. This verification is performed with equipment having accuracies traceable to NIST.

Material Test Reports (MTR)
When material traceability is required, Thermometrics can supply the required documents tracing the material used in the product you receive back to the mill manufacturing the raw materials.

Certificates of Origin
A Certificate of Origin (CO) is a document attesting that goods in a particular export shipment are wholly obtained or produced or manufactured or processed in a particular country (country of origin). If your product will ship outside the United States, Thermometrics can supply the necessary documentation to meet NAFTA and other trade requirements.

Non-destructive Testing
If needed by your application, Thermometrics can supply non-destructive testing reports to meet the following standards:

  • Internal Hydrostatic Testing – ASTM E1003
  • Dye Penetrant Testing – ASTM E1220
  • Positive Material Identification – ASTM E2465
  • Ultrasonic Testing – ASME Section V Article 5
  • NACE Heat Treat/Hardness Test – NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156
  • Surface Roughness Testing - ASME B46.1
  • X-ray Testing – ASME B31.3

Thermowell Wake Frequency Calculations
Upon request, Thermometrics experienced engineering team can provide reports documenting wake frequency calculations for your standard and custom built product.

Custom Design 

Thermometrics team of experienced engineers is dedicated to the continual improvement and development of our products. Our production system, combined with in-house design and testing expertise, facilitates our ability to develop new products with proven reliability quickly to meet your specific applications. Our Engineering team’s capabilities, knowledge, experience and on-site process evaluations provide you with support and the best possible temperature measurement results.

If you need small quantities of temperature sensors or prototypes that require special machined components, you can count on us to deliver them in a timely manner. Our in-house machine shop - complete with metal cutting, threading, shaping and finishing machinery, and stocked with a variety of raw material - compliments our Engineering, Design, and Production teams to manufacture sensors with special component parts.

Expiditing Options 
If your order calls for non-stock manufactured products and requires an earlier than normal delivery, you can place a rush order with either Same Day, 24 or 72 hour guaranteed shipment. Express orders can be placed with our Sales Department anytime during normal business hours for any reasonable quantity of temperature sensors or related products. Express orders must be placed via telephone in order to confirm and guarantee their shipping date.
  • Same day express orders normally ship the same working day the order is accepted.
  • 24 hour express orders normally ship the next workday following the date of order confirmed.
  • 72 hour express orders normally ship on the third workday following the date of order acceptance.

If your shipment requires special handling, packaging, crating, customs documents, express delivery or any other specific requirement, we are equipped to meet your needs. Experience gained in shipping thousands of packages each week allows us to deliver the most fragile or the bulkiest products with the utmost confidence that your order will arrive in perfect condition.
